Teresa Grame, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker and Art Therapist with over 10 years experience. Her background includes work with children, teens and their families coping with behavioral challenges and learning disabilities; trauma therapy with youth and adults; and bereavement counseling. She is a native of San Diego and a graduate of San Diego State University. Her post graduate training includes a Professional Certificate in Art Therapy and a Specialized Certificate in Play Therapy from University of California, San Diego Extension. She has extensive experience providing art therapy to people of all ages, including individuals coping with physical illnesses, families coping with loss in the hospice setting, and children, teens and their parents who are facing life transitions and behavioral challenges in the school setting. In her therapeutic approach, Teresa helps individuals and families to bring out and apply their unique strengths toward finding solutions to challenges and improving the quality of relationships. She applies creative and person-centered approaches to support individuals in finding a personalized avenue of self-expression that contributes to the realization of life goals.
