Laura Partridge is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples and families. Her specialties include work with trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, parenting/step-parenting/single parenting issues, and addiction recovery.
Laura brings to her work an implicit belief in the connection between the body and mind and the healing qualities of the therapeutic relationship.
Laura's training includes extensive work with abused and neglected children, adolescents and their families in a residential treatment center and elementary and high school programs.
She has worked in various non-profit agencies and in private practice, focusing on adult individuals and couples struggling to make sense of their worlds and the issues with which they are confronted. Over the past 10 years, Laura has facilitated parenting classes and domestic violence support groups as well as body-awareness exercise classes.
A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and completion of a four-year training program in Bioenergetic Analysis has enriched Laura's view of the world and the qualities she brings to the therapeutic relationship.
