Judith L. Pleskus, LCSW obtained her Masters Degree in 1990 from San Diego State University. Judith has over 16 years experience in a hospital setting, as both a clinical social worker and a recreation therapist, working with general psychiatric patients and those struggling with chemical dependency. In her previous private practice she focused primarily on couples counseling, women’s issues and chemical dependency. She took a break in her career to parent her 2 school age children, upon returning she has worked as a school therapist primarily with children, adolescents and families.
Judy brings to her practice a caring compassionate and realistic approach. She is a clinical therapist experienced in working with individuals, families, parents and couples with a variety of challenges. She uses a psychodynamic approach with a combination of cognitive-behavioral techniques and solution focused therapy to assist her clients in achieving their goals.
