Donna Montegna, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1983. As a therapist with thirty years of clinical experience, Donna is able to engage easily with people from all walks of life. She utilizes a unique blend of warmth, compassion and humanity to develop trusting relationships with each child, adolescent and adult she has the honor of working with. The cornerstone of her life and work is to do whatever it takes, always going the extra mile, to help her clients (whether they are 3, 15 or 83) experience their full range of emotions with emphasis on increasing self awareness, healthy productive interpersonal relationships, self acceptance and happiness as the foundation for life.
Her open and honest manner facilitates and supports each individual’s understanding and beliefs in themselves and others while using all she is as both a therapist and a human to challenge ingrained negative thoughts and beliefs which may be limiting their ability to feel joy within themselves or their lives. She focuses on each person’s strengths while fostering growth in a safe and supportive environment where they are encouraged to address their thoughts, feelings and experiences and build on their ability to trust, be authentic and live life to their fullest potential.
