Shahzad Khan, MD is a board certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist.Dr. Khan completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center (Hermann Hospital) in Houston, TX. He then completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.Dr. Khan has worked at the East Mississippi State Hospital with a chronically ill and indigent population and more recently for Kaiser Permanente as a staff psychiatrist.
Dr. Khan's practice philosophy is to focus on a person's individual resources and strengths through a process of self-discovery and growth. He utilizes an integrative model that treats the mind, body and spirit at the same time.Dr. Khan is married and has two young children.
