Children and adolescents are offered a full spectrum of integrative services by our therapists, psychologists, and child psychiatrist. We provide individual and family counseling with specially trained child and adolescent therapists and psychologists for behavior management issues, school problems, learning difficulties, mood disorders, drug and alcohol issues, attention deficit issues and autism. There are also ongoing parenting groups offered to learn specific skill sets, communication techniques, and other useful tools for home.
Our psychologists provide necessary testing for diagnostic purposes to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. They are able to do complete learning assessments, neurological testing, and psychological evaluations.
Dr. Timothy Liu, M.D. graduated from the adult psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine. He also completed fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center, and an internship at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical research on impulse-control disorders, problematic internet use and depression has appeared in numerous scholarly publications. In addition to medication consultation, he also provides psychological and behavioral treatments for problem behaviors in children, depression and anxiety disorders.
